The mute button is great. I notice that sometimes people don’t like my posts so I mute them just so they don’t have to see my posts. It’s a very useful tool. Also a Mute button is better than getting every single post downvoted to zero ... like on those other places. My posts seem to annoy the crap out of people. But I don’t care. This is Blurt and I will Blurt whatever I want.

a very altruistic one :)) i don't want to say anything about it ...

Be like Yoda. Just keep creating .... ignore the haters. Create create create.

I like when everyone's hating the artist :))) It means he exists :)

Hive especially hates artists.

I've sensed that ... What shocked me, and i do hope that #blurt #blockchain won't be invaded, was the fact that hive already started to be invaded with artists that were presenting videos inside their blogs with cover music ... AND, i've asked a simple question, that maybe shocked and therefore, no one said anything ... "Who pays the royalties?" to the composers of those songs, named by this fancy society, cover songs ? At this moment in time, no one have ever thought about this fact, that you cannot simply take someone's song and place it on a platform where you are monetizing it and the owner doesn't get any bread crumb :)) I guess you understand me and this hilarious and severe situation ... The so called #blockchain has no entities or platforms that manage this issue ... First of all, every true artist must have his own compositions registered to a legal institution that protects the artist's royalties and collects them, and only those who have signed a partnership contract with the composer of that cover song, and permitted them to create an arrangement on their composition, which later has been registered to an institution that collects the royalties, then yes ... you have the right to post your arrangement on that cover song ... I guess you agree with me on this, that at this very moment in time, the entire society, through this illusory de-centralized #blockchain think that "anything goes" ... and i am here to say the positive " No" it is not ... :)

Well.... on Youtube, the artists get paid via Adsense and Google.... all the songs that are used from the Youtube Copyright Free Library and Filmmusic.io

If I happen to use a short song sample from TikTok that is not on the Youtube Music Library or Filmmusic.io Library I get an email from Youtube telling me that the $$$ made from the video will go to the Artist of the song.

I try to use music from the Youtube Copyright Free Music Library or the Filmmusic.io copyright Free Library on my videos as the $$ goes directly to the Artist.

This was not something related to you @offgridlife but since you've opened the discussion related to that hate on the artists that you've sensed inside hive, i've thought to talk about that issue i've seen as well. Regards

I know... I just thought I would explain how Musicians get paid on Youtube when their music is added through the Youtube Music Library.
